First point to check before booking: this campsite park run by Sandaya in the Lomme valley only opens from April to early November. The estate is closed in winter, so no Christmas weekend and no February stay here. The rest of the year you rent chalets for four or six people, or a camping pitch, beside the river. There is no pool, no children's club, no wellness area and no indoor play area: a single restaurant, and the Lomme, where you fish with a permit bought at reception.

The valley makes up for it. The Domaine des Grottes de Han is eighteen minutes away and combines the cave with a wildlife park with wolves, bears and lynx; allow €28 per adult, it is the main expense of the stay. The Euro Space Center and its simulators are twenty-two minutes away, the Saint-Hubert game park eighteen, the Saint-Hubert basilica seventeen. The kayak descent of the Lesse, over twelve or twenty-one kilometres, runs from April to October, starting from Houyet. Dinant and its citadel are forty-one minutes away, the Annevoie water gardens fifty-five, open from April to October as well.
