When to Book a Holiday Park for the Best Price?
Between early-booking offers and last-minute promises, it is hard to know when to click the book button. Here is what the operators' published conditions say, with no myths and no invented percentages.

The last-minute myth: why it works poorly in high season
The idea that waiting until the day before departure gets you a half-price break is persistent. With dynamic pricing (yield management), that reflex works poorly in high season.
During school holidays and the long weekends in May, parks fill up early. Last-minute discounts do exist, but they are limited: at Center Parcs, up to 15% off a selection of accommodation for arrivals within two months, excluding the Christmas holidays.
The early-booking strategy: when and why it wins
For busy periods, booking early is the safest method. Bookings open well in advance: at the end of September 2026, Center Parcs was already selling stays for July 2027, and its Early Booking offer runs all year round.
- 20% off at Center Parcs: on the accommodation price only, for a stay of at least 2 nights booked at least 120 days (4 months) before arrival, with an activity credit of €30 (accommodation for up to 6 people) or €45 (7 people or more).
- First pick of rare accommodation: large cottages (for 8, 10 or 12 people) and special cottages (with a sauna or by the water) go first.

Outside school holidays: the window for real bargains
It is in the quiet season (November to March, excluding the festive period and the February holidays) that last minute makes sense again. For couples without school-age children or young parents with a baby, this is when the discounts appear.
By booking a few weeks before a stay in November, January or March, you can benefit from last-minute discounts (up to 15% at Center Parcs) and enjoy the Aqua Mundo without the crowds.
Weekend or midweek: the real cost per night
Your arrival day affects the final price. Operators offer two main formats: the weekend (Friday to Monday, 3 nights) and the midweek break (Monday to Friday, 4 nights).
A midweek break has one more night than a weekend: it costs more in total but less per night. On the parks we have priced, the fourth night adds €169 to €268 in total and lowers the price per night by €20 to €30. If your schedule allows it, it is the best value per night.

- School holidays and long weekends: book at least 4 months (120 days) ahead to benefit from Center Parcs Early Booking (20% off and an activity credit).
- Stays outside the holidays: compare midweek breaks and watch for last-minute offers in the two months before arrival.
- Always check the extras: bed linen, tourist tax and booking fees can push up the final bill.
- Compare distances: a slightly cheaper park that is much further away can lose its advantage in fuel and tolls.
